Together we're reshaping the future of primary care in New Zealand.

A healthy Aotearoa starts with a healthy primary care system.

We ensure the voices of practices, their patients, whānau, and communities are heard where decisions are made. By collaborating across four major primary health organisations, we bring together our scale, experience and reach to deliver innovative programmes, tools and services that enable primary care to thrive.

WHO WE ARE

Network4 is a partnership between four of New Zealand's largest Primary Health Organisations, each with deep regional roots and decades of experience supporting general practice, coming together with a strong, unified voice at a national level.

  • ProCareNorthern region
  • PinnacleMidlands region
  • Tū Ora Compass HealthCentral region
  • Pegasus HealthCanterbury

Together, we represent a significant portion of the country's primary care sector, supporting more than 350 practices and over 1.8 million enrolled patients - more than a quarter of all enrolled patients in Aotearoa.

WHY WE EXIST

Primary care is the foundation of New Zealand’s health system.

It is where most people first seek care, where long-term relationships are built, and where prevention, early intervention and community-based support have the greatest impact.

We see the increasing pressure and challenges our primary carers face every day across urban, rural, high-needs, Māori and Pacific communities throughout Aotearoa.

But we also believe the collective expertise, innovation and experience across our organisations can help build a health system that is more connected, more equitable and more sustainable.

By combining our experience, resources, and reach, we can respond collectively and deliver solutions that are more effective than any one organisation could achieve alone. By aligning priorities and reducing duplication, we enable initiatives to be delivered more efficiently and scaled nationally to create greater impact.

Pull-out comment “Network4 exists because four strong organisations acting together have greater influence, capability and power to deliver change for primary care than they could achieve alone.
